Teacher introduction
Associate Professor Takuji HOSOI
Takuji Hosoi received his Ph.D degree in Engineering from Osaka University, Japan in 2005. From 2004 to 2007 he was a postdoctoral researcher at Recerch Center for Nanodevices and Systems in Hiroshima University, Japan. From 2007 to 2021, he was an assistant professor at Graduate School of Engineering in Osaka University. From 2021, he is an associate professor at School of Engineering in Kwansei Gakuin University. His main research field is semiconductor material and process engineering for novel functional devices to realize safe and sustainable society.
Semiconductor Materials and Device Engineering
Technology has the potential for significant impact to overcome global issues such as climate crisis, energy resource, and health, and to build a sustainable society. We aim to facilitate technological innovation by designing materials and processes, introducing new structures, and exploring microscopic kinetics for developing next-generation multi-functional devices.
